About Us
UV Uptime is owned by Unlimited Ventures, a high-availability website hosting provider. Our offices are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan with data centers in Dallas, Chicago, and New York. Unlimited Ventures has been successfully operating high-availability services since June of 2000. UV Uptime is its newest suite of services, complimenting its well established high-availability hosting services and its recently released managed backup and data archival services.
How we got here
The UV Uptime service is a proprietary system written by a team of developers over the course of two years. The development and testing periods turned out to be much longer compared to our competitors because everyone working on UV Uptime obsessed about making the most reliable, robust system out there. We took painstaking effort to ensure that we had the largest range of URL settings, alert conditions were immediately detected and notified, and there would never be false-positive alerts -- ever. Our obsession with perfection is in part because ninety percent of our development team has extensive backgrounds in high-availability enterprise level environments and in part due to our desire to offer the best, most reliable, fully-featured service on the market.
